Welcome!

I am sorry. You may accuse me now of being a liar. I am not yet in Kenya so I deceive you as enter this first blogpost.

Thank you very much for taking the time to surf the sometimes rock waters of the internet and venture onto my blog. You must have made it through that epic support letter of mine, or are a college friend procrastinating studying at 3 in the morning. If that is the case what an honor it is for my adventure to spark that much an interest in your crowded schedule.

Please do comment. I wouldn't mind knowing who does read this and seeing how your adventures in life are unraveling.

As far as Kenya goes, what the underlying purpose of this blog is, I am starting to feel. I'm starting to feel excited/nervous/anxious/hesitant/overwhelmed/gracious/peaceful/worrisome/odd/impatient/ incompetent/loved/blessed/obnoxious. And thats just in the last five minutes.

I believe these feelings aren't a terrible thing, for I can only imagine(thats for you Jordan Graft) what waters of emotion will roar when these wallposts are telling the truth of my location.

And now for that moment of truth- Mother Teresa has been speaking out into my life lately. We all know some of her most famous words-In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love. Its hard for me to understand how I can serve God to the same degree now and bring the Kingdom in this moment compared to the opportunities in the fall. Its not about your serving being obviously beautiful though. Its not about your serving being on the news. Its not about your serving being advertised on someone's wristband in the form of rubber.

Its just about serving.

Its just about living, being right where you are(for me currently, being a waiter at Buffalo Wild Wings) and imitating Jesus. We can follow him any where he goes. Is he not right where you're at?(for you hunter)

Thats all i got
